FP Research Platform

On September 21 2004 several professionals involved in research and innovation in financial planning met. The committee research and development of the VFFP invited CareWhy's founder Symon Jagersma to join. He will also participate in this platform on behalf of his knowledge management responsibility at the RMFP. Some universities (EUR,  UVA and UVT) will also participate in this platform.

CareWhy will suggest to put Financial Life Planning on the agenda and also to cooperate as much as possible with existing organizations and cummunities. There also might be a possibility to obtain some financial support from the Foundation for Financial Planning.

In June 2005 Symon Jagersma presented a research proposal on Financial Life Planning for the Network for Stucies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement (NETSPAR) at Tilburg University the Netherlands. His research project at the faculty of Economic Psychology and Financial Behavior will be embedded in the Consumer Financial Planning and (il)literacy program.
